Jon Seaman Jr. Tapped as Bill Davis Racing Summer Intern
by, John Davison, VP Media Relations, Future Stars in Racing

Southbury, Conn. – Jon Seaman Jr., NEMA race driver and rising sophomore in Mechanical
Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology, was selected as an intern by Bill Davis
Racing’s No. 22 Caterpillar Toyota race team.

The young race driver and engineering student says that he “hopes to get experience in data
acquisition and chassis research and development” on the team. “I’m looking forward to
learning as much as I can and get good experience in race car engineering” this summer he
continued. “Having the opportunity to work with Bill Davis Racing and get hands-on
experience will bring me a solid foundation for my future, whether as a driver, crew chief or
team engineer,” he added.

While carrying a full course load and helping his family race team field a car for the 2008
season, Seaman has earned a 3.25 GPA in one of the nation’s best engineering schools. While
his ambition includes driving as a career, he admits that he would be happy as an engineer
on a major team.

There is no doubt that he still wants to be a successful driver, but if his career path takes a
turn into the engineering office instead of the driver’s seat, this summer will be a good
training ground for him.

TSR Stays On Track at Monadnock
July 27,2008

Southbury, CT - The team was full of anticipation unsure if this weekend's cars set up would suit
its new driver. The first practice was shortened due to the track getting oiled down by another
competitor. Mike used good judgment and as a veteran pulled off the track knowing he had
enough information on the car to relay back to the rest of the team. After a debrief with the crew
they went to work on the changes to be made to the car. The Second warm up and heat proved
what this young and talented team is made of although the TSR 63 failed to qualify in the heat race
by one position every change made throughout the night improved  the car. Mike started 11th in
the feature and on the first few laps fell back to 13th. As the race continued the team looked on as
Mike began his march through the field.  By feature end he had brought the TSR 63 NEMA midget
home in the 7th spot. A strong finish that maintains the teams string of top 10 finishes. TSR
Motorsports would like to thank its loyal crew Steve, Matt, Dave and newest member Kevin. Thank
you guys you are true professionals, and you always prove there is no I in Team. To our fans and
friends please be sure to stop by our pit area to say hello and share some fellowship this coming
weekend at Waterford Speedbowl.
